An offroader with rack & pinion steering, heavy duty frame, ATV wheels, a lot more internal room, hydraulic disc brakes & suits industrial motors up to 14hp or 250cc bike motors.

The Taipan is The Edge Products mid-sized offroader which features a full box frame, full rollcage structure, rack & pinion steering, and more power for the daring.

Power comes from either a 9-14hp Industrial Motor and auto Torque Converter or a motorcycle Motor up to 250cc.

Lightweight and structurally stiff, The Taipan can take a pounding, fitting it with a motorcycle Motor gives it wheel-spinning performance, while an Industrial Motor gives off the shelf reliability.

The key to The Taipan’s success is that it is simple to build, materials are readily available, and it gives the performance and toughness the old 250 Honda Odyssey only dreamed of.

Briggs & Stratton Vanguard MotorSo what type of motor suits the Taipan best?

Industrial botors offer fantastic reliability, coupled with the convenience of an automatic transmission (torque converter).

The Edge products is able to supply a range of Briggs & Stratton motors and related parts for those choosing the industial motor option.
