The RAVEN, The Edge Products latest design in affordable heavy duty offroad go karts. Like all The Edge Products vehicles the RAVEN has been built "TOUGH" to handle the rough & tumble of Australia's outback.

The RAVEN features a heavy duty box section chassis structure combined with heavy duty steering & axles.

Drive is via centrifugal clutch & chain drive to one rear wheel giving automatic operation. A strong racing type fibreglass go kart seat is fitted to aid comfort combined with fore & aft adjustment to suit children from 6 years upwards.

The Raven plan set consists of over 40 pages of detailed CAD drawings.

The plans feature parts lists, nuts & bolts lists, material lists & every part that need to be made including chassis, axles, steering, bushes, pedals, seat frame and engine mount.

Designed for the home builder in mind & easy to read the Raven plans break every component down into it's individual pieces along with steel cutting lists on each drawing.

Buying the raw materials, fabricating and welding the Raven parts yourself to the plans will cost approximately $800 to $1,000 Australian dollars minus motor depending on how much of the componentry you produce yourself.

The Raven is best suited to a 3.5hp industrial motor.

Industrial botors offer fantastic reliability, coupled with the convenience of an automatic transmission (torque converter).

The Edge Products is able to supply a range of Briggs & Stratton motors and related parts for those choosing the industial motor option.
